Title: Digitization Project Manager
Location: North York, Toronto
Position Summary:
The Digitization Project Manager will lead the digital transformation of systems for a client in the real estate and property management industry. This role involves managing the assessment, selection, implementation, and integration of digital tools to enhance accounting, operations, reporting, and client services. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience with property accounting systems (e.g., Yardi Voyager 7S), and a proven track record in digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and milestones; develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure effective communication.
- Evaluate and oversee the integration of software solutions with existing systems, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Analyze current workflows, identify automation opportunities, and implement efficient processes.
- Manage historical data migration while maintaining data integrity and minimizing disruptions.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Provide training, develop support materials, and offer post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Monitor project risks and quality, ensuring adherence to standards and successful outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver reports, insights, and updates for leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Project Management, Finance, or related fields; PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in project management, with 2+ years in digitization or IT transformation; real estate or property management experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana), ERP systems (e.g., Yardi Voyager 7S), and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
