Job Summary:
PBI is seeking a skilled Project Manager / Estimator to lead and deliver commercial construction projects in Renovations, Repairs, Alterations, and Maintenance (R.R.A.M.). This role combines estimating, preconstruction planning, and project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will prepare cost estimates, develop scopes of work, manage client accounts, and oversee commercial projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead estimating for commercial R.R.A.M. projects, including takeoffs, quantity measurements, vendor pricing, and scope validation.
  • Develop standardized estimate templates covering labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Capture field data (photos, measurements, scans) to create accurate, site-specific scopes.
  • Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously, maintaining cost, quality, and schedule control.
  • Build strong client relationships to generate recurring project opportunities and cross-sell PBI services.
  • Oversee project start-up activities, including procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor onboarding.
  • Track estimating metrics, project performance, and account growth.
  • Lead project closeout and billing readiness.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of commercial construction or renovation management experience
  • 2+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably for small to mid-size commercial projects
  • Experience with estimating platforms (ProEst, Xactimate, or equivalent)
  • High school diploma required; additional education in construction management a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
