OUR ROLE
At Fiskars Group, innovation and craftsmanship come together to shape products that millions of people use and love. As we continue building the future of consumer goods, we are looking for a Project Manager, PMO – New Product Development to join our R&D organization.
In this role, you will drive end‑to‑end global product and packaging development projects—from early concepting to products reaching our consumers worldwide. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, sourcing, manufacturing, and marketing experts who share a passion for meaningful innovation and exceptional product experiences.
This position is based in Espoo or Billnäs, Finland and reports to Senior Manager, PMO. The role is full‑time and offered in a hybrid work model (2 or 3 days from office)
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS
You will be part of our R&D Project Management team, working closely with cross‑functional teams across engineering, industrial design, brand, product management, sourcing, and manufacturing. Your work will directly influence the success of new product launches across Business Area Fiskars. You will lead diverse teams, collaborate across geographies, and support the evolution of our PMO practices and tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead global product and packaging development projects from concept through shipment.
  • Create and manage project schedules for initiatives with varying complexity and scope.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment through structured meetings, clear deliverables, and transparent planning.
  • Drive problem‑solving discussions with engineering, design, sourcing, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
  • Communicate expectations, risks, and project status across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Build and interpret project dashboards in Power BI to support decision‑making.
  • Continuously improve PMO processes, tools, and ways of working within R&D.
  • Support additional initiatives aligned with the PMO development roadmap.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a proactive project leader who thrives in an innovative environment and enjoys driving complex product development forward. You collaborate naturally, communicate with clarity, and bring structure to multi‑stakeholder work.
Requirements:
  • MSc or BSc degree in any field, with the ability to work in a technical product environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and new product development (hardware or physical products), preferably in consumer goods.
  • Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and high‑impact projects.
  • Ability to understand technical environments and proactively plan for risks and dependencies.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and passion for innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Scrum Master or PMP certification preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, agile environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and effective communication.
