Brief Description
Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Software Lifecycle & Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of software development and release activities for our X-Ray Imaging Systems.
In this role, you will drive software lifecycle activities across development, quality, and regulatory domains, ensuring efficient collaboration, release readiness, traceability, documentation, and compliance throughout the software development process. You will work closely with international teams to support the successful delivery of high-quality medical device software.
In this role, you are responsible for
- Facilitating and coordinating Agile development activities within the team.
- Organizing and driving Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and team meetings.
- Managing sprint boards, team capacity planning, and task tracking.
- Managing software traceability activities and resolving traceability-related issues.
- Coordinating defect management activities using Azure DevOps.
- Reviewing incoming defects and supporting defect triage and prioritization.
- Coordinating software release activities across multiple product versions.
- Creating and maintaining release documentation, release notes, and project quality documentation.
- Supporting document management, change control, and regulated software development processes.
- Managing third-party software compliance activities, including impact assessments and related documentation.
- Maintaining software lifecycle records and supporting audit readiness.
- Collaborating with development, quality, regulatory, and project management stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, your profile includes
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- Experience in software lifecycle management, release management, project coordination, or quality-related engineering activities.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable work management and defect tracking tools.
- Understanding of software traceability, defect management, release processes, and software documentation.
- Experience coordinating software releases and regulated software documentation.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Strong communication and moderation skills.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional development environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or other safety-critical environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or comparable software lifecycle standards.
- Experience with software configuration management and release processes.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or quality management processes.
