We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead our seasonal room and home addition projects. At Relaxed Living Ltd, we pride ourselves on being a Canadian-owned firm that utilizes Canadian-sourced materials and local labor to deliver high-quality residential solutions.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for someone who understands the "why" behind the build and can manage a project from the first shovel in the ground to the final walkthrough.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of residential additions (typically 11.5' x 20.5' footprints) and seasonal room builds.
• Site Management: Coordinate sub-trades, schedule inspections, handle homeowner permitting and ensure all work meets local building codes and our internal quality standards.
• Material Coordination: Oversee the delivery and inventory of Canadian-sourced aluminum and construction materials.
• Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship on-site, specifically regarding framing, finishing, and structural integrity.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing regular updates and ensuring a "relaxed" customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Trade Experience: A strong background in Carpentry is essential. You should be able to spot a missed measurement or a sub-par joint from across the yard.
• Education: A diploma or certificate in Construction Engineering Technology or Equivalent from NAIT is highly preferred. We value the practical, technical foundation provided by the NAIT curriculum.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding residential HVAC/electrical integration, and managing project timelines.
• Logistics: A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation (preferably a truck capable of site visits).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a crew and manage multiple moving parts without losing your cool.
