Hank’s Feedmill Service Ltd. is a family operated company located in Picture Butte. We service and maintain many local agricultural/food processing companies in the Lethbridge area as well design and erect facilities from start to finish. HFS is currently recruiting for a full-time project manager. This position includes but is not limited to help procure, develop and review the project scope, budget, plans and schedules. Candidates familiar with a trades background and who have a demonstrated history of meeting project schedules while staying within budget will be given preference. The ideal candidate will also be a proactive supporter of our health and safety management program, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience or a clear desire to learn. Along with the necessary experience, the applicant should have a strong work ethic and a safety-conscious attitude. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Procurement - obtain quotes, organize delivery, and issue purchase orders for materials
• Scheduling - work with General Contractors to meet milestones, coordinate with other sub-trades, and provide necessary resources
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
• Communicate regularly with clients, management, and project teams to ensure alignment
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company policies
• Flexibility to work periods of overtime and travel to sites on occasion

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Process or Structural Engineering, or a related field experience and tickets in the trades considered and asset
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction project management
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient with project management software
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required
• Team player who will positively contribute to the culture of the company

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
