Job Description
Lead end-to-end project delivery while enforcing project governance frameworks and standards.Set up and manage project governance structures: steering committees, reporting cadences, decision logs, and escalation paths.
Develop project documentation including charters, schedules, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reports.
Ensure adherence to internal compliance requirements, financial controls, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOX, etc.).
Drive stakeholder alignment by preparing governance packs and leading governance forums.
Collaborate closely with PMO, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and controls.
Track KPIs, budget adherence, and milestones; flag deviations and drive corrective actions.
Support audits and post-implementation reviews by maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation.
Promote best practices in project governance across the organization.
Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a strong track record of managing project governance.Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, Agile with governance overlays).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels, including executive leadership.
Familiarity with governance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow PPM, or similar).
Strong analytical, risk management, and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Project Management certification is a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
Nice to Have:
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, public sector).
Knowledge of change management practices.
Experience working with PMO or setting up governance structures from scratch.
