Key Accountabilities for the position will be:
- Effectively provide survey services to the project including common field set out / as-constructed / conformance surveys as well as office checks and calculations.
- Provide timely and accurate survey data, set out and as built information
- Efficient 12d Model user with the ability to convey information in a variety of formats.
- Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with site foreman and engineers on all matters relating to the construction activities.
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in surveying ideally on a Large Infrastructure project (not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in survey methodology, civil construction & paving methodology
- Experienced in providing the accurate quality assurance of survey data including maintenance and checking of survey equipment
- Understanding of survey methodology, civil construction & paving methodology
- The ability to operate a range of surveying equipment including GNSS GPS, robotic total stations and survey and design software
- Hold a minimum Class 1 Full driver’s licence
