Due to continued growth and expansion, we are hiring for multiple project-based roles across Victoria. These positions will be based in various suburbs, depending on project locations, size, and client needs. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on some of Australia’s biggest civil infrastructure projects.
About the Roles
We are seeking motivated and experienced individuals for project-based positions, including Traffic Management Project Supervisors. These roles involve overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of traffic management services, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Experience with high-speed roads will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee and coordinate traffic management operations across various project sites.
- Project Scheduling: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term schedules to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
- Team Supervision: Lead traffic controller crews to ensure safe and efficient operations on-site.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns proactively.
- Safety Excellence: Conduct site audits, enforce compliance with WorkSafe and AusRoads standards, and promote a culture of safety.
- Operational Management: Manage rosters, rejected shifts, vehicle compliance, and inventory of signage and equipment.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations and promptly report incidents, ensuring alignment with company and legislative standards.
- Training and Development: Provide coaching and upskilling opportunities for team members.
- Innovation: Contribute to the adoption of cutting-edge technology, including automated cone trucks and advanced traffic management solutions.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates with:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in traffic management or a related field, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of traffic management plans, compliance standards, and safety protocols.
- Exposure to projects on high-speed roads is highly desirable.
- A truck license or willingness to obtain one is ideal.
- Excellent organizational skills, with experience in project scheduling and time management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and an ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client and team relationships.
- Valid Traffic Controller certification and driver’s license.
- A proactive, safety-first attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
