HMO Property Designs, in conjunction with FJL Contracting, specialise in the conversion of residential terraced housing into 4, 5 and 6-bedroom HMOs.

We’ve been producing new HMOs in both the student and professional rental markets for the last 15 years throughout the North West and North East.

We have continual work already signed and agreed for the next 2 years and beyond; as well as HMOs we are now moving into the private residential sector, focusing on the conversion of suitable properties into first class private apartments.

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced PROPERTY SNAGGER/FINISHER.

Once the main construction work has been done and the houses are nearing completion, we need someone who is experienced in both snagging and completing final finishing. An excellent eye for detail and the experience to put the final fixes in place are essential, as is a good understanding of high quality finishing. The work will include - but not limited to - patching, painting, snagging, mastic/siliconing. Experience in refurb projects or HMOs, or Handyman/Maintenance experience would a definite advantage.

We’re looking for someone who can fit in easily into an already established team, who’s flexible in their attitude and able to communicate well with multiple trades; as well as being reliable to work unsupervised. Punctuality and reliability are key.

Key requirements:

• experience in property snagging/finishing roles – ideally within a construction background
• experience in property maintenance or handyman services
• strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
• valid driving licence to move between projects
• strong communication skills
• ability to work in a construction environment
• attention to detail and good understanding of a high quality finish

NOTE : This job is offer on a PRICE PER JOB basis for the snagging; furniture installs are paid at the following rates:

• 4 bedroom house : £500
• 5 bedroom house : £550
• 6 bedroom house : £600

Hours of work are Mon to Fri, 8am – 4pm; subject to a successful 3-day trial.
