Summary:
The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator will work out of SEMA’s corporate headquarters (Centennial, CO), playing a pivotal role in supporting our proposal and marketing efforts for our four districts. Reporting to the Proposal & Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating/producing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that effectively communicate SEMA’s capabilities and value propositions to prospective clients and industry partners while maintaining brand standards and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, writing, and graphic design skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support the proposal/pursuit process from start to finish, contributing positively to achieve results
· Create and maintain proposal and marketing workplans alongside deliverable schedules
· Collaborate with technical staff to gather information and develop proposal and marketing content
· Write, edit, and proofread proposal sections to ensure clarity, consistency, quality, and compliance with client requirements
· Format and design documents to enhance visual appeal and readability
· Create, maintain, and update proposal, presentation, and client-facing material templates
· Coordinate and participate in draft review process for both proposal and marketing materials
· Maintain proposal/marketing material content library
· Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, branded corporate templates, and presentations
· Assist in the creation and coordination of branded content for the website and social media channels
· Coordinate the production of marketing materials for trade shows, conferences, and career fairs
· Work closely with the departmental team and technical staff to align marketing efforts with business objectives
· Participate in weekly departmental meetings, providing status and schedule updates
· Ensure all marketing and proposal documents are consistent with brand standards and messaging guidelines
· Coordinate printing process ensuring quality and consistency through the final steps of each project
· Coordinate project and personnel photography as-needed
· Social media and website content coordination as-needed
· Assist in annual award submissions
· Additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in related field or equal industry experience (Marketing, Communications, English, Graphic Design)
· 5+ Years of Experience (AEC or industry-related field preferred but not required)
· Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to multitask
· Committed to quality in all aspects of work
· Aptitude for writing and editing
· Ability to work under tight deadlines
· Communicative and collaborative – thrives within a team-oriented setting
· Knowledge of CRM and proposal content management is a plus
· Self-starter, results-oriented, driven to meet expectations and exceed goals
