NZ Police are offering an opportunity to join the Police Prosecution Service (PPS) as a Prosecution Support Officer (PSO) based in Wellington.
In your role you will provide administrative support to the PPS office, to enable its effective operation. Responsibilities include: working with, processing, and administratively managing prosecution files, including recording and extracting relevant information, checking accuracy and completeness, administering necessary follow ups (including as directed by PPS staff), use and management of databases and spreadsheets, and responding to and/or directing queries that come into the PPS office. Through building an excellent knowledge of Police and Ministry of Justice processes, data bases, and operating procedures you will be an important part of the Criminal Justice Sector. - Applicants must be a NZ or Australian citizen, or a permanent NZ resident
- Successful applicant is required to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing, Police Vetting and Reference Checks
- On appointment, the successful candidate must reside within commutable distance to the Wellington office.

Utu a-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 (pro-rata part-time salary), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
