Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Expected Hours: 8 hours per day

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Personal Support Worker (PSW) Practicum Supervisor to oversee and support students during their practicum placements as part of our PSW Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor PSW students at practicum placement sites
• Monitor student performance and complete required evaluations
• Provide guidance, feedback, and ongoing student support
• Liaise with practicum placement sites and college administration
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and professional standards

Qualifications Required

• Must be a certified Personal Support Worker with:
• College Certificate, and
• NACC Certificate from a PSW program (post-2015)
• Minimum of three (3) years of current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment (preferred settings include long-term care, hospital, community, or chronic care)
• Must meet Instructor Qualification Standards as outlined in the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills

Assets (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working with adult learners in an educational environment
• Experience in a Private Career College or post-secondary educational setting
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant, facilitator, or trainer

Work Location & Travel Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively to practicum sites in the Kitchener, Guelph, and Hamilton areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
