Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing clinical counseling and diagnostic evaluations. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, in various therapeutic environments such as hospitals and schools. The Psychologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting group therapy sessions, and supervising junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
- Facilitate child family counseling sessions to support family dynamics and improve communication.
- Supervise clinical staff and interns, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with best practices in psychology through ongoing education and training.
Skills
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to identify mental health disorders effectively.
- Experience working in hospital settings, providing care to diverse patient populations.
- Proficient in facilitating group therapy sessions that promote healing and support among participants.
- Expertise in clinical counseling techniques that foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Ability to work effectively with children and families, understanding their unique challenges.
- Experience supervising staff or trainees, demonstrating leadership qualities within a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of school-based counseling practices is a plus, enhancing support for students' mental health needs.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90.33 - $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
