Renert School, located in Royal Oak NW, is one of Calgary's leading private schools. Known for its transformative approach to education, Renert School employs exceptional educators who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of learners.

We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Sessional Instructor to teach an introductory Social Psychology course from starting immediately until June 2025. The course is currently in progress, and we are looking for a qualified instructor to assume teaching responsibilities in order to enable the current teacher to take a leave. Class times are Tuesdays, 12:30-1:55pm and Thursdays 10:20-11:45 am. Classes will be held in-person at our school. The class size is 15 students. The time commitment is approximately 6-8 hours per week, making this an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Psychology teacher, a recent Psychology graduate, or a graduate student with teaching experience.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds at least an undergraduate degree in Psychology (a graduate degree is preferred).
• Has prior experience in teaching or TA'ing Psychology courses.
• Is familiar with or has experience teaching the AP Psychology curriculum (preferred).
• Is passionate about Psychology and excels at engaging students with the subject.
• Demonstrates a commitment to students' well-being and development.
• Possesses an Alberta teaching certificate (preferred).
• Lives in Calgary and can easily commute to Renert School.

Pay: $42.50-$52.50 per hour
