Job Description:
As a Door Supervisor at Gibbons Security, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of venues during busy nightlife hours. You'll play a crucial role in managing entry, handling crowd control, and resolving incidents in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control entry and exit to nightlife venues, ensuring only authorised individuals are allowed in
• Conduct ID checks and manage queues in accordance with venue policies
• Monitor for and address disruptive behaviour, preventing and handling incidents as they arise
• Carry out bag and body searches, when required, in line with venue protocols
• Manage crowd control inside the venue, particularly around busy areas like dance floors and bars
• Ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Maintain a high level of customer service, assisting patrons as needed
• Communicate effectively with venue staff, management, and other security team members
• Report any suspicious activities or security concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)
• Previous experience in door supervision for nightlife venues such as bars, pubs, or clubs (preferred)
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Professional, approachable, and customer-focused
• Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Punctual and reliable
• Right to work in the UK

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
