We are looking for someone to temporarily take on the role of Public Tender Market Specialist starting in September for a period of 5 months. This assignment is open to external professionals and offers a unique opportunity to support Lloyd's business development in Italy.
Principal Accountabilities:
Registration of new tenders in the relevant local system
Preparation of application for bid and/or offer to be submitted to public bodies on behalf of Lloyd's stakeholders (Correspondents, Lloyd's Brokers, Syndicates, Managing Agents) including proving Lloyd's declarations, attaching relevant documentation, satisfying any other request when and if applicable.
Request of necessary declarations to third parties including banks, notary, rating company (Standard & Poor's), etc.
Organisation of prompt and timely delivery to public body
Management of awarding process documentation as required by the public bodies in case Lloyd's wins the tender
On-going update of the public tender database with all relevant information including information received by the entity and to be passed on to the involved stakeholders.
Satisfying e-procurement requirements, particularly regarding Lloyd's being registered as a supplier for relevant public bodies.
Keeping ongoing efficient relationship with Coverholders, Open Markets, Lloyd's brokers, public bodies to prevent problems and to obtain support when needed in the Lloyd's interests
Skills:
Communication skills, both written and verbal
Punctual and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in daily tasks
Solid understanding of public administration processes
Familiarity with digital platforms commonly used in public sector environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
