Public Works Technician I - Water/Wastewater

The City of Waynesville is looking for a full-time Entry Level Public Works Technician I for the Water/Wastewater Department. Applicant must have a solid work record with reliable attendance and a good work ethic. Applicant should be a self-starter and team player. Applicant must be able to obtain certification and licensing required to properly manage the City's Water and Wastewater infrastructure. Must be able to write clearly, communicate and work well with other employees and the residents of the city.

Applicant should have a High school diploma or GED equivalent and possess a valid Missouri driver’s license. CDL is preferred. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, and lift heavy objects, during the course of the work day. Must be available some weekends, holidays and be able to work overtime when needed.

Salary is commensurate with work experience.
