Responsible for sourcing and procuring parts and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules. Key duties include negotiating contracts and prices, managing purchase orders, verifying quality, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal departments like production, quality control, and accounts. This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive supply chain.

Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; maintain and develop strong relationships with existing vendors.

Procurement:

• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers for materials, parts, and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
• Track POs and ensure timely delivery of components and materials against production schedules.

Inventory and quality control: Collaborate with stores and quality control departments to ensure received goods meet specifications.

• Escalate any discrepancies in quantity or quality.
• Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels for production.

Administration and reporting:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
• Generate reports on pending deliveries, procurement status, and supplier performance.
• Process vendor bills and assist with vendor payments. Compliance:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant industry regulations, including safety and environmental standards.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required.

Experience: Minimum 1 yr experience in any automobile industry mandatory.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
