Purchase Ledger Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the purchase ledger entries.

Duties

• Process purchase invoices .
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the purchase ledger.
• Perform data entry tasks..
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports by analysing purchase ledger data.
• Support the finance and administration teams with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role is essential.
• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyse financial data and produce reports as needed.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
