PURCHASING-PROCUREMENT ASSOCIATE-WV PARKWAYS AUTHORITY
BECKLEY-RALEIGH COUNTY
SALARY: $48,507.32
Review purchase requests to determine sourcing options, including internal resources, existing contracts, or competitive bidding.
Collect and secure bids; conduct public bid openings; prepare bid tabulations; evaluate bids for cost-effectiveness and compliance with requisition requirements.
Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, correspondence, memoranda, and procurement reports.
Monitor and oversee orders to ensure compliance with contract terms, timely delivery, and acceptable product condition.
Coordinate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, repair facilities, and affected departments to facilitate claim processing and settlement.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent and four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid clerical experience which included purchasing supplies and maintaining inventory.
OR
Substitution: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience.
