About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable PV Roofer to join our growing solar installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels on residential and commercial rooftops across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and/or solar PV installation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar PV panels and mounting systems on pitched and flat roofs.
• Ensure all installations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Carry out roof assessments and prepare work areas for installation.
• Work closely with electricians and other team members to complete full PV system installations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a roofer, ideally with experience in solar PV installation.
• Sound understanding of roofing materials, systems, and safe working practices.
• Ability to work at height and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid Safe Pass and Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Full, clean Irish driving licence – essential.
• Flexibility to travel to sites across Ireland.

Desirable

• Previous experience working with solar PV systems or renewable energy installations.
• Manual Handling and MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) certifications.
• Knowledge of building regulations and solar installation standards.

Pay: €33,057.80-€56,008.33 per year
