About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assessor- HUB Compliance who will identify and report risk within our HUB business (part of Just Group) and collate MI to help meet the company’s customer and conduct principles.

In this role you will understand and respond effectively to ever changing needs of all customers; reviewing and recommending improvements to the systems and controls that are in place to ensure both internal and external customers are treated fairly.

There will also be elements of supporting the Group Compliance and Group Internal Audit division as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • The primary focus of the role is to provide a Quality Assurance (QA) service ensuring that ‘best advice’ and ‘best practice’ are adopted in HUB Financial Solutions’ direct sales to customers (via both field and telephone based advice) and in all areas of the company’s procedures and processes. Proactively supporting HUB to examine quality throughout all HUB operations to extend to any future areas of advice / service.

  • Effectively support current regulatory and procedural requirements

  • The role holder will also contribute to the maintenance of a robust Consumer Duty culture

  • Providing support as required to the Group Compliance function in meeting its ‘Conduct & Customer Risk objectives’ as and when workloads and resources allow.


Skills & Experience

  • CII CF1 qualification (or equivalent) – Ideally before starting the role

  • Willing to work towards obtaining - CII Certificate in Equity Release (or equivalent) & CII CF8 (or equivalent)

  • Financial Services QCF level 3 and 4 qualifications (or equivalent) is desirable

  • Experience within a Verification, Quality Assurance and / or Compliance business function would be beneficial.

  • Experience in Pensions Review and / or as a Technical Consultant / Financial Adviser / Para-planner would be beneficial.

  • Detailed knowledge of the complexities of the retirement market, in particular Equity Release, Care Funding and Guaranteed Income for Life / Annuities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.

  • Possessing an attention to detail with a focused commitment to achieving quality.

  • Good level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office packages.
