- Follow the responsibilities of SQF team member to consistently ensure the product safety.
- Monitor and inspect CCPs and labelling specifications.
- Inspect production material as assigned for defects.
- Check chemical Concentrations and knife inspections.
- Calibrations of scales and thermometers.
- Record, summarize, and interpret experimental and monitoring data in a neat and orderly manner.
- Provide GMP trainings to new hires.
- Participate in regulatory audits (internal and external), follow up and issuing of corrective actions based on deviations found.
- Ensure ongoing procedure compliance according to OMAFRA and Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements.
- Perform ATP testing and pre-operational check to make sure that no hazards exist before the production starts.
- Perform Operational inspection daily.
- Work with Consultant to maintain SQF program and certify all products under CFIA.
- Report defects to the appropriate manager.
- Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation.
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
