Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role requires the QA to effectively and efficiently perform their daily work tasks to the highest level of Quality, food safety and health and safety standards, meeting all targets and reporting all issues.

Must display the following key behaviors/competencies throughout role:

• To ensure Quality Management Systems are implemented and maintained in order to guarantee that we produce safe and legal products and that all products are produced to the correct specification.
• To achieve the daily standards set out by the BRC global standard for food safety and to meet all customer codes of practice and technical standards.
• To ensure all the KPI requirements of the quality daily and weekly dashboard are met, and corrective actions are implemented as directed and agreed
• To ensure allergen management and meat speciation systems are implemented and maintained throughout the factory.
• Ensure all quality systems procedures are followed.

Knowledge / Experience preferred

• Diploma or equivalent in a Science, Technology, related discipline
• Experience in a position of responsibility within a quality related function in a FMCG manufacturing environment
• BRC Standards and Customer codes of practice
• Experience in the application of ‘Lean Tools’
