We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable person to perform fiscal and programmatic quality assurance duties to assess compliance, performance, and customer service. This role includes conducting quality case reviews and administering consumer surveys to evaluate service effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. The Specialist exercises strong knowledge of federal regulations, Consumer Services Policy, and the agency’s Fees, Codes and Procedures policy to communicate compliance findings clearly and effectively. Duties will include:
- Review authorization for appropriate documentation, fees, codes, forms, and compliance with Federal and state regulations, and Consumer Services policies and procedures; issue authorizations and communicate with originating staff members within 5 business days of receipt.
- Initiate the planning, coordinating, and conducting of Quality Assurance Reviews on a daily basis to assess the agency's program integrity in the areas of compliance and quality service delivery.
- Conducts consumer surveys across all agency programs and maintains reports to track feedback, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Identify trends, both positive and negative, resulting from the fiscal compliance QA reviews and programmatic compliance reviews that can be used to train or clarify policy or procedures for staff and improve accuracy of requests and service delivery.
- Conduct special topical reviews as directed by the Quality Assurance Director to identify compliance issues and other areas of service delivery or caseload management in need of improvement.
- Assist in the ongoing activities of the Quality Assurance Division to ensure that individual, area, and statewide compliance occurs as outlined by agency and federal regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of agency's mission, programs and objectives. Ability to exercise and exhibit a strong knowledge of federal regulations, Consumer Services policy and procedure, agency's fees, and codes in order to efficiently and clearly communicate compliance findings to the requestor. Ability to review payments against authorization for appropriate processing by field staff.
