Introduction:
Civilmart and Infrastructure Products Australia (IPA) have come together under the global parent company CRH, one of the world’s leading building materials groups. This merger marks a significant step in strengthening Australia’s civil infrastructure supply chain, bringing together two of the most recognised names in precast and civil concrete manufacturing.

With the backing of CRH’s global expertise and resources, we continue to invest in quality, safety, innovation and our people. This role will be based at our IPA Lara site, supporting the delivery of high-quality precast concrete products for critical infrastructure projects.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QC Coordinator to join our WHS / QA team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for conducting pre-pour and post-pour inspections, ensuring all products meet required standards, specifications and quality expectations before release.

You will work closely with production, operations and WHS teams to identify non-conformances, troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement across quality systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, ITPs and specifications
  • Perform reinforcement steel checks, dimensional checks and visual inspections
  • Complete testing and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards
  • Identify, report and manage non-conformances, including initiating remedial works where required
  • Maintain accurate quality records, as-built documentation and labelling
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Monitor concrete mix designs and product quality performance
  • Support quality training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Actively contribute to WHS, environmental and risk management activities
About you

You’re practical, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You’re confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will bring:
  • Experience in manufacturing, precast concrete or a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC and HSEQ systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Qualifications & requirements

  • Diploma in Quality or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Auditing qualifications or willingness to obtain
  • Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Why join us?

  • Be part of a globally backed organisation through CRH
  • Work on essential infrastructure products that support Australian communities
  • Stable, full-time role with long-term career opportunities
  • Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Supportive team environment at our Lara facility
