Job Title: Quality Control/Assurance Manager (Fiberglass, Injection Molding, Roto-Molding) at AK Industries, Inc.

Job Summary:

AK Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager with expertise in fiberglass, injection molding, and roto-molding to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed industry standards for quality, safety, and reliability, and work closely with the customer base to understand their quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for all manufacturing processes, including fiberglass fabrication, injection molding, and roto-molding

• Work closely with the customer base to understand their quality requirements and ensure that we meet or exceed those standards

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner

• Develop and maintain a database of quality metrics to track trends and identify opportunities for improvement

• Develop and deliver training programs for production and quality control personnel • Manage the non-conformance process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental standards

• Communicate regularly with senior management on quality performance and improvement initiatives

• Manage the quality control budget and identify opportunities for cost savings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field is a plus, but not required

•3+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in a fiberglass, injection molding, or roto-molding environment

• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and statistical analysis methods

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
