Purpose
The Quality Graduate will play a key role in supporting the Quality and Technical team to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while continuously improving our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the site’s Food Safety and Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS and customer requirements.
- Support the Quality team in carrying out internal audits, hygiene inspections, and traceability exercises.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety specifications.
- Assist with microbiological and chemical sampling, product testing, and results interpretation.
- Record and trend quality data, identifying areas for improvement and supporting root cause analysis of non-conformances.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in supplier approval, customer complaint investigations, and product release processes.
- Collaborate with Production and NPD teams to promote a strong food safety and continuous improvement culture.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to audit preparation for external inspections (e.g. BRC, DAFM, customer audits).
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Written and spoken English
- Preferably degree Food Science or related area. HACCP trained is an advantage
- Good communication skills and computer skills essential.
- Strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Appetite to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri). Willingness to work in different shift pattern (from 8am to 5pm, from 6am to 3pm). In the future, the schedule may be changed in case of production needs.
Experience:
Preferably one year in a Food Production environment.
