Description:
About the Role
As our Quality Controller, you'll be the final checkpoint before vehicles are returned to customers, ensuring repairs are completed correctly and meet manufacturer standards. You'll also support the workshop through road testing, vehicle movements, yard coordination and general operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct final quality control inspections on repaired vehicles
  • Perform road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and quality requirements
  • Verify repair quality and identify any outstanding issues before customer handover
  • Support the Workshop Controller in daily workshop operations
  • Assist with customer waiting jobs and priority vehicle assessments
  • Move vehicles throughout the dealership and yard areas
  • Assist with detailing, yard organisation and general support duties as required
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement
Skills and Experiences:
About you:
  • A qualified technician or non-qualified person with sound technical experience with heavy vehicles.
  • Able to meet and exceed quality standards as set by the brand
  • Previous experience performing road tests and quality control functions (ideal, not essential)
  • Good communicator with the ability to provide guidance and support to the technical team via demonstrated knowledge and capability
  • Physically active, this hands-on role.
  • Flexible to assist with secondary duties, yard work, driving and general maintenance.
  • Must have a truck license to apply for this role.
  • A forklift license is ideal.
