Job Description

We are currently seeking to employ a Quality Coordinator to our Distribution Support Services team based in Upper Hutt, Wellington. In this role, you will coordinate quality and assurance activities for the Omexom Wellington Electricity operations. This role is responsible for creating and managing the annual audit plan in collaboration with Business Unit and Operational managers and for undertaking process audit reviews to ensure compliance to customer and company processes, making recommendations for improvements.

- Creating, implementing, and managing the annual audit plan in collaboration with the Business Unit General Managers and Operational Managers.
- Coordinating the quality assurance and audit documents in conjunction with the best quality practices.
- Ensuring best practices are reflected in quality documentation and compliance reports.
- Ensuring processes and procedures are reviewed and up to date in conjunction with document owners.
- Publish and promote monthly quality dashboards including trending and analysis of audits results and presenting back to the business.
- Providing monthly reporting on quality activities and progress.
- Managing and maintaining the company audit programme to meet the requirements of the business.
Qualifications and Skills
- New Zealand Organisation for Quality (NZOQ) – Diploma or equivalent is essential.
- New Zealand Certificate in Organisational Risk and Compliance is preferred.
- A working knowledge in Electricity Distribution construction and maintenance sectors is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of employment legislation and its application in the workplace; especially the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 requirements.
