PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

This position is responsible to review product and material throughout multiple stages of manufacturing and external processing by verifying characteristics as required. This position indirectly reports to Shift Supervisor and provides support by handling product traceability, and non-conformances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cleanliness & organization of work area
• Product Inspection audits & data entry at required intervals
• First off Inspections, including documentation
• Identification, handling, tracking, and investigation of internal non-conformances
• Analyze, report and disposition production shift scrap
• Maintains requires documentation
• Creates material traceability & identification tracking records
• Communicate shift reports
• Support Production with use and handling of gauges
• Verification and troubleshooting of Inspection equipment.
• Conduct review and data entry of Supplier certificates and records
• Complete Layered Process Audits
• Assist with MSA Studies when scheduled
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, Quality procedures and work instructions
• In addition, this position is responsible to provide support and back up for the following as needed:
• Perform final inspection and packaging tasks, including the operation of automated equipment.

Compensation will consist of an hourly rate, subject to additional payment in the form of company bonuses, incentives and premiums.

We offer an additional vacation accrual rate above and beyond employment standards, starting at a base of 6%.

Shifts Offered:

· *Weekday nights: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am(10hr. shifts, .5 hr. lunch)

* $1/hr. shift premium

Glueckler Metal Inc., first established through trial and error in the family-owned garage back in 1985, is a family-owned operation that has evolved over the past 30+ years to become a world-class precision machining, high volume, SRC (Safety Related Components) parts supplier within the automotive and heavy transportation industries. Currently employing around 57 team members, much of our staff have become like family, many having served 20 or even 30 years with the company. The strength of our team to continuously overcome the challenges of our ever-changing industry forms the backbone of our organization. Over the years, GMI has acquired over 30 multi-spindle, multi-axis CNC Machining centers while continuously working towards automating processes to eliminate as many manual requirements from our staff base as possible.
