JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform First-Off Part Approval Process

Perform inspection and testing on product as required by control plan

Clearly identify product so that the conformance status with regard to inspection and tests performed is recognizable and understood.

Record measurement data and where applicable, enter data in SPC file;

Troubleshoot unstable or incapable processes

Initiate and verify containment and disposition of non-conforming material as required

Authority to stop production, in consultation with leadership, in order to correct quality problems and prevent non-conforming product from being produced or released to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum 2 year Technical Diploma (Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electronics) or equivalent experience

Hands on experience performing dimensional inspection & measurement

Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings

Working knowledge of the principles and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Able to fulfill physical requirements

Repetitive lifting of gauges & fixtures for measurement purposes (use lift assist where required for heavy fixtures)

Walking or standing up to 8 hours

Required to work different shifts, non-routine hours and travel between plants

Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with others in English
