We’re looking for a Quality Specialist (Compliance) to join our team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Head of Quality and Food Safety. Joining our team you’ll take accountability for protecting and promoting our brand through safe and responsible products that build trust by monitoring and leveraging customer feedback. You will be the subject matter expert who is empowered and has the technical capability to provide the business with sound guidance and can help educate and support the wider Woolworths team as applicable.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • You will be responsible for:
  • Managing Audit exemption requests
  • Supplier development and onboarding
  • Supplier WSE maintenance and issue resolution
  • Customer complaint trending and action plans
  • Investigation of Sev 1 and Sev 2 complaints as applicable
  • Involvement in projects as applicable e.g. PEAL, ARL,Geographical Indications
  • Delivery of Compliance training where applicable
  • Withdrawal/recall follow up and investigation
  • Maintaining a high level of expertise in the relevant regulations that impact Woolworths’ products and processes

About You | Mōu

To succeed in this role you will need to have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, be able to influence through internal and external relationships and have proven risk assessment skills. If you’re the sort of individual who strives to always do the right thing for customers, team, our communities, and our business then we ought to connect. To be successful in this position, you will have sound knowledge of relevant industry and regulatory standards as relates to Fresh Foods, Long Life, Non food or other Grocery goods. You will also have a relevant degree, or equivalent formal qualification in a related discipline.
