Location: Tillsonburg, ON

Shift: Afternoons Mon-Thurs (4p - 2a)

The Quality Technician is required to work with all production departments in ensuring weld integrity of product and provide support to the internal labs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform weld verification requirements for plant and customer needs ensuring accuracy to the required test standards
- Provide weld verification support for new product activities, process change activities and problem investigations
- Create and maintain proper documentation of inspection results
- Maintain microscope in good working condition and perform validation checks during and after machine use
- Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics
- Provide support for CMM and Laser Scanner measurement activities
- Provide support for Gauge Calibration and Repair activities
- All other relevant duties
Minimum Education / Training Required
- Quality Assurance Certificate or equivalent certificate or diploma
- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
- 3 years related experience in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of GD&T and Blueprint data interpretation
- 3 years experience with stamping, welding and assembly processes
- Computer efficiency and systems knowledge in all required areas (i.e. Windows, Excel, Word)
