Quality Tester (Php Applications)

Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing PHP-based applications, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques, along with the ability to create thorough documentation and collaborate effectively with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct manual and automated testing of PHP applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and test plans.
• Perform regression, performance, and usability testing as needed.

2. Bug Identification & Resolution

• Identify, document, and prioritize software bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with developers to provide detailed insights and ensure timely resolution of bugs.
• Re-test resolved issues to confirm fixes and prevent recurrence.

3. Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test cases, results, and bug reports.
• Develop user and technical documentation for the tested software.
• Ensure all testing processes and results are well-documented for future reference.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Suggest improvements to software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging tools, trends, and best practices in testing PHP applications.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges and opportunities for process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Tester, with expertise in testing PHP applications.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, PHPUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Basic understanding of PHP and its frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Familiarity with database testing and tools like MySQL.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
