Job Summary
The Raw Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receipt, verification, and documentation of all incoming raw materials, components, and supplies for production within the nutraceutical environment. This role ensures compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and company policies, while maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging components.
- Load/unload materials manually or using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and label materials appropriately.
- Stage materials and supplies for production and ensure proper storage.
- Operate within GMP and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and compliant work area.
- Support warehouse operations including order pulling, lot issuance/de-issuance, and finished goods staging.
- Assist with startup, shutdown, and operations of lots running on the lines.
- Complete required training and contribute to a team-oriented, safety-first environment.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or raw materials handling experience preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, scanners, warehouse systems).
- Experience with Deacom ERP system is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow timelines.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working in environments with powders, chemicals, and common allergens.
