Rda (Registered Dental Assistant)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Days offered are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30-4:30 PM and one Saturday a month from 8-12 PM.

This is a private practice treating adults and children. We do not take HMO's. Doctor sees about 10-12 patients a day. This is a long term position.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take dental X-rays
- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
- Make temporary crowns
- Make nightguards and bleaching trays

Experience:
- Prior experience in a dental office or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft software is a plus
- Understanding of general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry principles
- Proficiency in maintaining medical records and utilizing aseptic techniques
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when necessary

Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant certification
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 27 per week
