Ready Mix Driver / Rigid Tipper (Quarry-Based Role)

Candidates must be capable of performing, or willing to learn, both tipper and ready-mix driving roles.

Must hold a valid and up-to-date CPC and Safe Pass certification.

Key Responsibilities:

For Rigid Tipper Duties:

• Transport loose bulk materials (e.g. stone, gravel, sand) from the quarry to external sites.
• Safely load and unload using tipper mechanism.
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure proper load securing and weight limits.
• Operate within quarry health & safety regulations and traffic routes.

Key Skills:

• Experience with heavy vehicles.
• Understanding of load securing and weight limits.
• Good spatial awareness for maneuvering in tight or busy sites.

For Ready Mix Duties:

• Load concrete at the quarry batching plant.
• Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customer construction sites.
• Discharge concrete safely and efficiently at site.
• Wash out the mixer drum after deliveries as per environmental and safety standards.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of concrete properties and handling.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Site safety awareness.
