Del Duca Lewis & Berr is a boutique South Jersey law firm located in Haddonfield, NJ. The firm provides high-quality legal services throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia region, with an emphasis on real estate, land use, lending and construction law. The firm also handles general business matters and commercial litigation. We are looking to grow our practice. We are seeking a real estate attorney with 4+ years experience to join our team. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of real estate transactions, including residential and commercial real estate closings, due diligence and title matters, leasing, and lending (including SBA loans). The attorney will be expected to provide legal advice and support to clients on a broad range of real estate-related matters, and will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing leases, purchase agreements, loan documents, and other real estate transactional documents. In addition, the attorney will be responsible for supporting other attorneys representing clients in real estate-related litigation.

The firm has a thriving New Jersey land use practice. While prior land use experience is not essential, the successful candidate should be willing to learn the practice.

This is a prime opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney who is looking for long term stability and the opportunity to handle complex matters in a small firm environment. The candidate must have, or be willing to establish, long term roots in the metro Philadelphia community.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in real estate law;
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania;
• Experience in drafting and reviewing real estate transactional documents, including leases, purchase agreements, and easements;
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Experience in litigation is a plus;
• Experience with banking and financing transactions is a plus;
• Experience with land use matters is a plus.

Salary range is an estimate. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
