Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying items against work orders, and ensuring products are properly stocked on shelves and storage areas. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and compare items against work orders/invoices.
• Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Record and maintain accurate documentation of received and shipped items.
• Organize, label, and store goods in designated warehouse or stockroom areas.
• Stock shelves and displays on the sales floor, ensuring products are front-faced, rotated (FIFO), and well-presented.
• Replenish merchandise as needed to maintain availability for customers.
• Assist with order picking, packaging, and preparing items for shipping when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the stockroom, storage, and sales floor areas.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and inventory control.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in basic math for inventory counting and record keeping.
• Experience with order picking, packaging, and stock replenishment.
• Knowledge of warehouse receiving and retail stocking processes.
• Ability to operate reach trucks, order pickers, forklifts, or MRP systems (asset but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and stock merchandise safely in a busy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Experience:

• warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
• produce department: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)
