Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our front store team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our operations. The candidate will also be responsible for front store ordering tasks as well as being cross trained on cash duties to cover breaks, etc.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
• Update cost and retail pricing on our POS system.
• Process front store orders as required
• Provide the front store cashier with breaks, and cover during vacations, time off, etc.
• Help customers with customer service tasks
• Maintain organized storage areas, adhering to best practices.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in managing discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving experience is an asset
• Previous cashier experience, and/or Lottery experience is an asset.
• Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
