What You'll Do

• Smiles and makes eye contact with guests / fellow staff members while working
• Relate in a friendly professional manner to shop guests and fellow staff members.
• Assist guests as needed or requested.
• Shipping/receiving/pricing/tagging product
• Managing back stock and rotating merchandise
• Maintaining incoming/outgoing inventory records
• Examining shipments/matching with PO/Invoice/Pkg. slips
• Working with vendors to rectify damaged merchandise/shorted items/back orders/improper pricing
• Timely pricing and distribution of product to ensure it gets on the sales floor as soon as possible
• Assembling product & displays as needed or directed
• Operate cash register as needed or directed
• Additional duties as requested or directed

Skills You'll Bring

• The shipping / receiving person is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized inventory room.
• Accurate account of inventory and proper pricing of product according to management guidelines.
• Communicate in a positive and professional manner with guests and fellow staff members.
• Excellent Verbal and written skills
• Retail experience preferably in a specialty shop
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and software programs; excellent math and analytical skills.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, sit and reach with hands and arms and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Job Type

• Full-Time evening and weekends
• Requires the ability to work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
• On-the-job training provided
