About the Role

The Reception and Administration Officer is a member of the college administration team, providing timely and effective reception, clerical and administrative support services across the College, servicing the Junior, Middle and Senior schools. The Reception and Administration Officer plays a pivotal role in the delivery of exceptional ‘front of house’ services, across all reception areas of the College, to students, Parents/Caregivers/Guardians, Visitors and other members of the Community, enabling positive, and engaging interactions with the College that support student learning and wellbeing.

This is a full‑time position, commencing as soon as possible on an ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Provide ‘Front of House’ reception duties across both College campuses as required.
  • Assist students, staff, visitors and contractors with sign in/out procedures, ensuring Blue Card requirements are consistently met.
  • Support in the administration of student medication where required and appropriately trained, including administration of the medication to the student, relevant recording and storage of student medication.
  • During periods of staff absence, manage daily student attendance by accessing absentee systems, recording absence details, following up on unexplained absences, and liaising with parents/caregivers, or teachers as required.
  • Provision of any other clerical and administrative duties reasonable at the level of this role, as directed by the HR, Compliance and Administration Manager, including support on projects or initiatives.

Skills and Experiences:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Certificate-level qualification in Administration, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience deemed, by the College, sufficient for the successful performance of the role.
Excellent interpersonal and professional communication (both written and verbal) skills.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities, monitor progress, and meet operational demands.
