Join our fabulous team at The Tallaght Cross Hotel as a Receptionist.

The Receptionist is an important position working closely with the Front Office Team.

About Us

Tallaght Cross Hotel in Tallaght is nestled right in the heart of Tallaght Cross Town Centre, situated just off the M50, N81 & N7 motorways. With convenient access to & from the City Centre, via the Luas Red Line. The area features retail & apartment living & has the Square Shopping Centre & Tallaght Hospital on either side.

Job Summary:

The receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support across the organization. This role involves welcoming guests and clients, managing front desk operations, handling phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front Desk Management:

Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner.

Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, brochures).

2. Administrative Support:

Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.

Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).

Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.

Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

3. Customer Service:

Address and resolve basic inquiries and concerns from visitors and clients.

Provide accurate information about the organization and its services.

Complete check in/out protocol

4. Communication:

Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Update calendars and schedule meetings as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a hotel setting
