Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Receiving customer phone calls and directing calls to appropriate department
Responding to customer queries and provide customer support
Provide various certificates, invoices and documents on request
Assist customers with sample submission and testing queries
Chase and take payments, issue receipts and release testing certificates
Dispatch/post testing kits and consumables
Deal with courier arrivals and dispatches and accept samples into depot
Track submissions against payment history
Assist with general reception duties
Ad Hoc duties as required
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Excellent standards of PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Professional phone manner and customer service skills
Willingness to learn
Strong organisational skills
Full driver's licence
Analytical and logical approach with a keen eye for detail
Able to thrive under pressure and work as part of team in a fast-paced environment.
Interest/background in science would be an advantage but not essential
Knowledge of LIMS and SAGE Accounts would be an advantage but not essential
