Receptionist / Admin Assistant - Toro - Admin & Management
Position Overview
The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is a fundamental team member responsible for providing exceptional front desk customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall operations of the office. This position is required to be onsite at our 330 Applewood Crescent, Concord, Ontario office five days a week (8am-5pm ET). This position ensures smooth day-to-day office functions while also assisting other departments with tasks related to purchasing/material flow, employee support, office services, and executive assistance.
Candidate Profile
You will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. You should be proficient at focusing on detailed administrative tasks using the full suite of Microsoft Office and working electronically with colleagues in other Toro offices. Any experience working with an ERP system will be considered a definite asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Maintain and order office supplies, negotiate best prices for several divisions
  • Generate purchase orders as required
  • Sort and distribute mail accordingly
  • Receive and forward emails to the appropriate employee
  • Arrange deliveries
  • Support our Purchasing function i.e. receiving materials daily and logging in to our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Maintaining boardrooms (pre and post meetings) & calendar
  • Facilitate our new coffee program (maintain & track via Excel)
  • Participate in event planning & execution
  • Prepare reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in a receptionist or administrative/ office coordination role preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
  • Respect of confidential matters/maintaining confidentiality when appropriate.
