Ridgecrest Village is seeking a friendly, dependable Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our assisted living unit. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. As our receptionist, you’ll play an essential role in daily operations while providing clerical support to the Director of Assisted Living—and you’ll be a key part of the warm, caring experience Oakwood is known for.
Essential Duties:
- Serves as the first point of contact for inquiries and directs to appropriate person
- Greets and assists visitors and families
- Schedules residents’ appointments and transportation including preparing packets for next day appointments and setting up the IPAD for virtual appointments
- Order and display resident door signs to create a welcoming environment
- Complete inventory and order office supplies
- Care and feed fish in the Oakwood aquarium
- Assist with Oakwood room reservations for residents
- Deliver packages, mail and newspapers to residents in a timely manner
- Promotes positive Oakwood and community relations
- Provides routine information and refers requests to proper sources
- Answers and operates telephone courteously and efficiently
- Forwards information and messages to appropriate parties
- Handles incoming and outgoing business and resident mail
- Copying, scanning, filing, shredding and other clerical duties
- Provides breaks for main receptionist
- Attend required in-service meetings, including all staff meetings and state training sessions
- Performs other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Reliability and flexibility with scheduling
- Comfort working with residents, families, and staff in a healthcare or assisted living setting
- Willingness to meet required education and training competencies
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Basic Computer skills including email, word, excel, etc.
- Functional literacy in English.
