About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organised Receptionist to join our team at a welcoming Bed & Breakfast. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their stay.
This role is ideal for someone with hospitality, hotel reception, or customer service experience who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, phone calls, and email enquiries
- Provide information about the property and local attractions
- Process payments and bookings accurately
- Coordinate with housekeeping and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest service
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
Requirements
- Previous reception, hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisation and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using booking systems and basic computer software
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Fluent English required
