Receptionist - Ccbk

Position Summary: To provide administrative support to CareerCompass program, and management, complete various projects to assist in the achievement of program goals. Responsible for front desk duties including greeting all incoming clients, answering and routing calls, and other clerical tasks as required. Provide assistance in the following areas: scoring of assessments, collecting documents for time keeping, attendance tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all front desk duties including answering phones, monitoring sign-in sheet and checking clients in and out of the program.
  • Monitor and maintain waiting area and inform management of any client security-related issues immediately.
  • Responsible for collection of participants' timekeeping documentation in both hard copy and electronic form, reviewing documentation carefully to ensure documentation is in compliance with program policies and procedures
  • Assist with scanning, and making copies for clients, staff and program needs, including scanning and copies of handouts and other materials for daily orientation and other workshops.
  • Assist with MetroCard distribution to eligible clients and obtain client signatures in the MetroCard Log.
  • Assist with attendance tracking and meeting timekeeping deadlines for all CareerCompass clients and ensure accuracy of reporting engagement activities
  • Assist Business Manager with data analysis and reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assist Orientation Facilitators in the Scoring of TABE/SABE as well as other assessment instruments, as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Must have excellent customer service, presentation skills, and computer skills.
  • Experience working with similar client population is a plus. Experience working with public assistance population preferred
  • Experience working in employment services or in social service-related field preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
  • Working in an automated on-line system, demonstrates proficiency in use of applied information technology and on-line database systems; demonstrated keyboarding speed proficiency and accuracy preferred for a paperless case management system.

Salary: $40,000/year

Schedule: 5 days working full time on site
